Morning Star is a beautiful, family-friendly, comfortable home in an ideal location on Green Turtle Cay. A deep water dock on Black Sound can accommodate large boats and the private beach on the ocean side is great for shelling and walking. This Sea-to-Sound property offers the best the island has to offer. Plus, it’s just a short golf cart drive to the quaint town of New Plymouth.

Morning Star was built in 2003 with the hope that people would come to our home to unwind, unplug, and be together enjoying the beautiful views. The main house (upstairs) has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The two guest quarters are located at ground level and are 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and full kitchen-living area combo each. Morning Star is available to be rented in its entirety as a 5 bedroom, 5 bath home or separately (inquire for a full price breakdown).

The house boasts an open floor plan with comfortable seating for 6 at the bar and 8 at the table. The kitchen is well-appointed with every modern convenience including a brand new French door refrigerator with bottom drawer freezer and ice maker, JennAir gas range and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. Enjoy beautiful views of Black Sound while you stand at the sink. The open living area has comfortable seating and a new 42” wall-mounted flat-screen smart TV. There is central air, 2 tankless hot water heaters, high-speed WiFi, cable TV, and a landline. There is also a washer and dryer.

The master bedroom with a queen-size bed faces the ocean. French doors lead to the large wrap around porch. The ensuite bathroom has a larger walk-in shower. The second queen bedroom faces the ocean and has French doors leading to the large wrap around porch. It also has an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has bunk beds with French doors opening onto the wrap around porch that faces Black Sound. The bathroom is right outside the bedroom so as to be accessible to the main living area as well. Tile floors throughout keep the floors cool.

The treasure of Morning Star is The Upper Room. The cupola is reached via an indoor spiral staircase and has panoramic views of the island, Black Sound, the ocean, and Gillam Bay. With a small sink and comfortable seating, it’s an ideal spot for sunrises, sunsets, and everything in between.

The large wrap-around covered porch and sunning deck are complete with hammocks and porch furniture. There is often a nice breeze on one side of the house. The ground floor has covered parking for your golf cart. After your walk on the beach, use the foot wash to leave the sand on the beach before going upstairs to relax on the porch – taking in the breathtaking view. The beach in front of the house is protected by a coral reef and the water is filled with tropical fish and lobster, perfect for snorkeling.

The two guest quarters on the ground level are mirror images of each other. Each has a full kitchen including range and oven, microwave, toaster, and refrigerator with an open living/dining area. The cosy queen bedroom with en suite bathroom is welcoming after a long day on the beach or boat. The sleeper sofas boast new, high-quality mattresses allowing for an extra guest if you’d like. Each room has a mini-split AC unit.
