Island Gambol

Island Gambol, a comfortable 4-bedroom and 3-bathroom home, overlooks Bluff Harbour and the Sea of Abaco. It is ideally located between the Green Turtle Club and Bluff House – both of which offer outstanding restaurants and island music/dancing – as well as being near the world-famous Brendal’s Dive Centre.

On the upstairs level, there is a master bedroom which has two queen-size beds, an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. The second upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed, a bathroom en suite and if desired, room for a single aero-bed in the alcove.

Downstairs, there are two other bedrooms with two single beds in each and they share a bathroom. The spacious, open-design living room has a 42-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV with satellite/DirecTV, a DVD player and an extensive collection of DVDs.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an ice maker, dishwasher and food disposal. The home has a large capacity washer and dryer, central air conditioning and heat (a unique feature on the island!), a collection of books, Starlink Satellite WiFi and a whole house standby by an automatic generator.

Outdoor activities are abundant at Island Gambol. There is a private dock and there are nearby beaches on the deserted islands of Fiddle and Crab Cay – both visible from the front porch.

Relax on hotel-quality lounge chairs at the 12 x 24-foot flat-bottomed (3 1/2” deep from end to end) fresh-water swimming pool or enjoy a game of water volleyball. Sit on the porch rockers or waterside Adirondack chairs while watching numerous green turtles and the occasional pair of dolphins in the harbour or take a nap in the hammock. Additional outdoor activities include horseshoes, bocce, and 'out island putting green'. Beautifully landscaped, the garden is adorned with tropical flowers, fruit trees and herbs.
